– fouad, how are you? – good, you? – I’m good thanks god! – it’s cold a little bit. – yes it’s cold. – even in the house it’s cold. – don’t you have heaters? – we don’t have money. – oh you don’t have money, anyway there is no electricity. – because when there is electricity in lebanon, you may use the heaters. but when the generators are on (in case of no electricity), we can not use the heaters. – you will understand it only if you come to lebanon – so you’re ready for the travel? – so so, I’m still missing some stuff – where are you going? – I’m going to many countries. – really? what are they? – Czech, Slovakia and Hungary – oh so the capital of Czech is Prague, and Bratislava for Slovakia and Budapest for Hungary – you’re going to 3 cold countries! – and there’s snow. – a lot. – a lot… – hopefully – so what are you taking with you to stay warm? – i’m taking a hat, a scarf, a jacket and snow boots. – so did you pack your luggage or do you need help? – no all is good. – can I help you in something? – I don’ t need help. – nothing at all? – you’re going to spend Christmas here or there? – Christmas will going to be in Prague, and new year in Budapest – and how many days are you going? – 12 days – how many days in Prague…? – 5 days in Prague, 2 in Bratislava and 4 in Budapest – if yo’re from any of those 3 countries we say hello! – where are you going to spend new year? … oh did you just tell me? – what are you going to do? go to a restaurant? or celebrate in the square? – we don;t know, it depends on my friend Hiba, what she’s going to do – I fell like going, cause I;m going with fouad, we’re going to celebrate in Budapest’s square – we get beer, or anything.. we drink and we do the count down… 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2,1 happy new year!! – so i’mm going to see you in the new year – if gods wants… in 2017? – so bye 2016, hi 2017 – let’s do something. you’re 2016, I’m 2017 – s what are you going to do in those 3 countries? – tourism? – yes tourism – what do you want to see? – I want to see the architecture, the museums, the paintings… – there are many painters originally from those 3 countries I would love to see their work live for example in Czech, there is ….who? the Czech painter? – the one we saw last year? – Egon Schiele? – is Egon Schielie from Czech? – no he is Austrian, we saw his work when we went to Vienna… – oh true, last year we went to Vienna, and we saw Egon Schielie’s work – so what about the food? – oh food! in Prague they are known in the pork meat – I’m so exited to try this kind of food – so yo’re going to eat sausages and this big soup that comes in bread – and inside of it also there is pork meat, – yes and onion adn special spices – and you’re going to the Christmas market, in the street where everything is decorated? – yes Prague is know for this Christmas market – ok great! – so I see you there? – yes – and if there is anyone that is follows you from those countries, they can meet us! – please contact me… – do you need anything? – nothing (salemtik means your heath) – lets go and come back in health I see you next year in 2017. thank you fouad!

  6. Great video, thank you Hiba and Fouad.I would like to know something: during the video did you speak normally or did you try to use simple words in order to make it easier for us to understand? I understood some sentences before seeing the subtitles, but I need to get used to the speed of the dialogues to improve my comprehension (it was a bit fast to me, but I know it could be even faster if u were in a hurry). Regards from a Brazilian-Lebanese fan.

  7. Not really related but can someone give me some tips on pronouncing ayn? I've been at it for a year and I sound ridiculous.
    my native language is Spanish and I speak English, French and Portuguese but I don't think there is an equivalent sound in any of the languages I've learned. ๐Ÿ˜ญ
