senegal Senegal’s capital is undeniably among the most exciting and unique destinations in the world it’s a vibrant city that’s incredibly rich in culture and for those of you concerned about safety is considered to be quite safe situated in western Africa it sits on the cab fare Peninsula along the Atlantic coast and boasts truly breathtaking beaches it’s a place of contrasts where new and old architecture intertwine where tradition is celebrated but in a way that leaves plenty of room for new trends in food fashion and art hungry travelers will love Senegalese cuisine especially the fresh seafood while the rich sounds of the country’s incredible music will quickly help you find the unique rhythm of this incredible City Vancouver Canada what makes Vancouver so uniquely appealing its diversity as a coastal city in a mountainous area renowned for natural beauty it makes for an incredibly well-rounded travel experience both in and around Vancouver there is ample opportunity for surfing paddleboarding kayaking mountain biking fishing mountain climbing and more and though it is known to be rainy the weather is remarkably mild year-round and the rain is usually light enough not to have any sort of significant impact on your day a foodies paradise especially for those with a penchant for Asian cuisines populated by friendly locals and boasting a phenomenal craft beer scene Vancouver has so much to offer the modern traveler Kochi India when people think of traveling to India there are a few specific destinations that almost immediately spring to mind namely Mumbai Delhi and Agra to see the Taj Mahal while all three cities should appear on your travel itinerary we’d like to put forward Kochi as a major reason to plan a trip to India it’s rich in historical sites and attractions like matanshapira Ellis and Fort Kochi but is so a mosaic of Portuguese Dutch Chinese and English influenced making it feel utterly unique Kochi has distinguished itself for its clean energy initiatives and this eye towards the future can be felt in many aspects of life in this city though it’s rich in history and culture it’s a city that’s reinventing itself in various ways perhaps most notably as a hub for the arts the agony islands Sicily there are few places in Italy that we wouldn’t recommend visiting but considering its many high-profile destinations like Rome Venice Florence the Amalfi Coast and the regions of Tuscany and Emilia Romagna well it’s really easy to overlook the south of the country even if sicily does make it onto the itinerary chances are you’re gonna wind up in palermo and don’t get us wrong palermo is beautiful but for those who came to southern italy in search of something different the agony islands are where you want to be booking your stay quiet secluded but with just enough comforts to make you feel pampered agony makes life simple swim eat explore drink relax repeat every little town has something unique to offer from mom-and-pop restaurants and locally produced wine to breathtaking views and prehistoric cave paintings in the grata does Jenna visit Galway Ireland long appreciated by travelers in the know as a must visit whenever visiting Ireland the city’s bohemian charms are finally getting at the attention it so rightfully deserves for the year 2020 Galway officially becomes the European Capital of Culture the pub’s quaint architecture street performers art and traditional music that make this city so infinitely charming will remain unblemished but with this honour you can expect a year full of special events of course this isn’t the first time Galway has distinguished itself in 2018 and it was named a European region of gastronomy meaning that foodies absolutely need to add this destination to their bucket list Salvador Brazil nature centric tourism in Brazil encourages environmental initiatives and discourages destructive industries like mining and logging so while Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo are always great choices for visiting Salvador the country’s fourth-largest city has been getting a lot more love of late the main draw is Salvador’s rich history and beautiful colonial architecture the payload he no district earned UNESCO World Heritage status in 1985 beyond payload Reno however there’s also afro-brazilian culture food and music to be appreciated and beautiful coastline to be admired plus thanks to the infrastructure developed in the lead-up to the 2014 FIFA World Cup exploring Salvador is easier than ever Cairo Egypt Cairo is home to some of the most famous attractions in the world including the Pyramids of Giza and the iconic Sphinx that being said this long popular destination has been on the back burner for many travelers due to the political instability in the area now that piece is seemingly returning so are travelers just in time for the 2020 opening of Cairo’s grand egyptian museum appropriately named gem for short where you can see the Tutankhamun collection among other priceless artifacts the historical and cultural value of a trip to Cairo goes without saying but it also has a ton to offer in terms of its local cuisine market places cafes and beautiful architecture salzburg austria there are many ways in which a city can suddenly find itself climbing to the top of a list such as this in any given year sometimes it’s just a matter of people catching on to what a destination has always had to offer other times it’s the product of cultural developments like a flourishing foodie scene program supporting the arts or marketing efforts promoting local attractions in the case of Salzburg however it’s the culmination of long-running traditions and the advent of a landmark year 2020 is the 100th anniversary of the Salzburg Festival launched in 1920 this music and theater festival runs for five weeks during the summer it is already world-renowned but for its centennial they’re pulling out all the stops come for
